Cozy and tasty!
Had a fab stay! Breakfast was delish, especially loved the full English and the soda bread. The room was super warm and comfy, but parking can be a pain. Loved the pub vibe too. we ate there and the food was top-notch. Staff were friendly and helpful, making it a fun time overall!

What a great time during my 2-night stay! Each morning started with a fab breakfast and evenings we enjoyed the cozy bar and the lovely outdoor seating. Just wish the dressing table had better mirrors, but overall it was a win! 🌟

The menu was uninspiring with very limited options.

The stay featured a wonderfully clean, spacious room with comfortable furnishings and an excellent dog-friendly atmosphere, including a delightful doggy treat box. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town and close to shops, making the experience enjoyable. the dining options were limited, with disappointing portion sizes that did not justify the prices. service could be lacking as staff seemed more focused on personal conversations than attending to customers.

I had a lovely stay at The Ship. The staff greeted me with warmth upon arrival. My room was clean and modern, with a super comfy bed. The atmosphere felt welcoming and cozy. I especially enjoyed the pub’s Sunday roast. the Yorkshire puddings were a highlight. It was great that they provided water for my dog. The location was perfect for exploring Rye. parking information wasn't clear. I parked in a nearby area, but ended up with a fine due to unclear signs. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. I paid quite a bit for it, but the quality felt subpar. A few dish options ran out early, too.

An excellent stay for families
Had a lovely time here. The room was super comfortable and cozy, perfect for a family with kids. We were greeted by a friendly staff, and the breakfast was nothing short of a feast, I mean my kids devoured it. The location is great for exploring without wasting time driving or parking.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but honestly worth every penny.

The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made the visit enjoyable. the lack of vegan options for an expensive dish and some confusion around service charges left a sour taste. Despite parking issues nearby, the overall experience was decent for a family outing.

The bathroom sported modern fixtures with plush towels, and the coffee maker offered a nice alternative for quick caffeine fixes, though not ideal. Proximity to local attractions made exploration easy, while the overall decor added a charming touch to the stay.
Noise levels in the room were disruptive, with an incessant drone from the kitchen's extractor fan for hours and ticking sounds from behind the wall throughout the night. Limited breakfast hours led to a missed meal. some clear communication could improve that. The coffee maker malfunctioned, requiring a kettle to be brought in, and occasional communication lapses seemed evident when it came to ensuring meals matched requests accurately. A minor lack of room privacy, with thin walls allowing noise from neighboring guests to drift in during nighttime hours, also detracted from the experience.
